TWR72 ( - NL)
TWR72 is the story of two friends and DJs who have been sharing the bill since 2004, originally under the name The Walk & Rogerseventytwo. Two DJs – Tom, the confident one and Roger, born in 1972 – who decided to abbreviate their name to TWR72 (for higher visibility on posters, they claim with humour) and make music together. This was a wise decision that led to them signing up to the Instant Replay label and releasing their first EPs. Termed “futuristic techno” by the BBC, their music has a clean and progressive style while remaining hard and dancey. These two young guys from Holland claim to be influenced by Robert Hood and fans of the “French sound”. TWR72 are the duo to watch. Enjoyed by Erol Alkan, they have worked for around two years alongside the prestigious Sound Pellegrino label as well as with artists of international renown such as Brodinski, A-Trak and Zombie Nation.
