At the Ardentes, we like the work of Rebotini. Present since the very first edition of the summer festival with his group Blackstrobe and then solo in 2008 following an invitation from Dave Clarke, he is back this year with his new album Someone Gave Me Religion. For his latest creations, this French artist has made a grand gesture by deciding to abandon his laptop in favour of old machines and analogue synths. A way of centring his solo project around a modern but vintage universe and discovering the pleasure of more concrete musical activity on stage. This makes a man a more complete artist. Other than Blackstrobe and his solo project, he has multiple musical experiences. He started out in a death metal group, launched the trip hop project Zend Avesta and remixed Noir Désir. His open-mindedness broadens his spectrum of production and deliciously spices up his electro and techno sounds.
