Arrondissement of Paris, Popof has ended up joining the very exclusive club of best producers of our time. Highly lauded by Tiga, but not pretentious, this Parisian hangs out with the young crowd (notably Djedjotronic, also present at the TransArdentes) and armed with a flawless cultural background in techno, selects tracks with a minimal sound, without hesitating to go back to his first love by releasing some relentless, massive beats. For the TransArdentes, however, he has conjured a live performance which should include the kind of powerful electro that is so dear to him and which may well transform les Halles into a vibrant dancefloor.
